This course covers the competency required by a member of an Emergency Planning Committee (EPC) to document and maintain a facility emergency plan, to establish and maintain an emergency control organisation (ECO) and to operate in accordance with the facility’s emergency plan. <\/p>\n

Why ‘Manage an emergency control organisation’ with us?<\/h2>\n

Australian Fire Protection Fire Safety Advisers actively delivers Fire Warden \/ ECO Training and assist in the emergency planning phase to ensure an appropriate Emergency Response Plan is prepared for response to the various emergency situations that could impact your facility. <\/p>\n

This means we have an in-depth understanding of what managing an Emergency Planning Committee entails, and most importantly the practical skills and know how required to train you to undertake your role as a member of the EPC.<\/p>\n

Australian Standard 3745-2010 Planning for emergencies in facilities<\/a> defines the EPC as the persons responsible for the development of the emergency plan appropriate for the facility. The EPC is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the emergency plan and also ensuring that adequate resources are provided.<\/p>\n
