Australian Fire Protection is a national company with a heart for the local community. Every year Australian Fire Protection\u2019s management team decide on a community project to support. Whether fire training, an evacuation procedures manual or fire evacuation are required the entire team at Australian Fire Protection are quick to put up their hand to help.<\/p>\n

“Social responsibility became part of Australian Fire Protection’s core actions several years ago when we decided to introduce a Community Engagement Officer. This role was aimed to improve the awareness of fire safety and the importance of training within community organisations. Over the last few years, this role merged to form the Business Relationship Team where we identify projects that Australian Fire Protection would like to partner with in the community. We do so by assisting in developing fire safety strategies and implementing training as part of our commitment to our responsible business practice and sustainability.<\/p>\n

We are currently working with Soldier On<\/a> and 2019 we worked with a small community group ‘Peachey Community Garden’<\/a> where volunteers gather to share gardening knowledge and contribute to various local workshops. Peachey Community Garden approached Australian Fire Protection as they were required to ensure that all their volunteers were trained in first response fire training for the safety of the Park with the introduction of a Pizza Oven.<\/p>\n

Australian Fire Protection continues to look at different community groups to assist with fire training and strategies as part of our social and corporate responsibility implementation.”<\/p>\n
